Customer reviews left in our two lovely cottages and on TripAdvisor
This is a link page to some cottage reviews and comments received. We also have reviews in Google + and Tripadvisor, so you can check out other peoples’ experiences and cottage reviews before you decide to book. Since most people plan to come again I am sure this will help you to make the decision to come to East Prawle and enjoy a self-catering holiday in one of our family cottages. Both cottages have easy access to the Neptune coastal path and the local beaches, which are wonderful and varied.
The two cottages are very different, although both in the popular village of East Prawle. Sea Rocket cottage is situated on the village green, which is ideal with children as they all meet and play out on the central grass area, or go to the pub to play pool in the children’s room. So it is very social for them. For adults it has the benefit of being central and convenient – just by the shop, the cafe and the well-known Pig’s Nose pub. It is a neat small cottage, though sleeping up to five people, and is cosy and easy to run and keep warm in winter.
Foss Cottage is a larger cottage standing in its own big garden with an orchard at the side. It looks straight out to sea and has indescribably beautiful changing seascapes and views. It is located at the west end of the village and is the last house, terminating the little cul-de-sac road that leads to it. Thus it has a feeling of remoteness, quietness and privacy, although it is connected to the village and its services, a short walk up to the village green, pub and cafe. Foss sleeps 8 adults comfortably and has extra beds and/or mattress/cot etc for children if needed. There is room to park one or two cars in the garden.
